This is a brilliant amp with many features to sculpt your sound and 3 Gain stages: clean, drive, gain.

Ich hatte schon zwei Akustik Amps von AER gespielt, dieser hier klingt wärmer und nicht so "boxy" und komprimiert.

Matrix, ziemlich laut, einer der am besten klingenden Aktivbox, die man für die Modeller Fractal, HX LinE 6, Kemper bekommen kann. Hat sechs Presets. Klingt wegen der geöffneten Rückwand wie eine Mischung aus Gitarrenbox (und genau das wollte ich) und PA-Monitor mit FRFR Quallitäten, im Sound so gut wie die Atomic CLR, gelten mit diesen als die besten Active Cabs um 1000 ¢ in der Fractal Community. Die schnuckelige Box ist ziemlich laut und hat für einen 10" er (+ Tweeter) seeehr viel Bass!! Ich habe einen 12er nie vermisst. Wiegt zwischen 13 und 14 kg. 37 x 40 x 28 (Tiefe) cm. Extrem stabil gebaut. AX8 ist nicht im Kauf inbegriffen,hier nur wegen Größenvergleich gezeigt.  Der Speaker ist ein Eminence. Der Tweeter sitzt auf dem Speaker, also coaxial und nicht irgendwo daneben. Den genauen Speaker-Typ kann ich nicht erkennen. Die Presets werden per Knopfdruck an dem kleinen durchsichtigen Knopf durchgeschaltet, sind daran zu erkennen, wie schnell der Knopf blinkt. Der größere Knopf daneben ist für die Lautstärke.

Mick Farlow von Xitone hat mir folgende 6 presets für den Matrix Amp programmiert:

Neupreis über 1200 $ (860 $ + 130 $ Versand aus USA + ca. 24 % Zoll +Einfuhrsteuer), Zustand wie neu, 2 Jahre alt, nur Wohnuzimmer, Spannung 240 V, Matrix Amp 400 Watt in 4 Ohm. Ich habe mir diese kleine 8" Cab bauen lassen, hat auf beiden Seiten eine Öffnung und hinten ebenfalls eine Öffnung, um den Sound im Raum zu "verteilen". Der Speaker ist zwar nur 8", aber schwer, hat den gleichen Magneten wie die 15"er , die Mick verwendet.

Bitte beachten! Durch die Gehäuseöffnungen hinten und auf den Seiten gehen die Frequenzen nicht tief runter wie bei der anderen zur Verkauf stehenden Box, also nur etwa bis 120 hz. Das war mir zu wenig. Ist also nichts für Leute, die Bass brauchen. Ich habe vor allem Acoustic Guitar darüber gespielt, das haut gut hin! Hat sechs Presets. Diese kleine Box ist Mörder laut, noch lauter als meine 10" Xtone!  Wiegt 13 kg. 37 x 37 x 28 (Tiefe) cm. Extrem stabil gebaut. Die bestklingenden Amp Modeller  kommen von Fractal Audio, keine Frage (habe Helix schon gespielt). Und der AX8 ist auch noch ein hervorragendes Pedal, ein absolutes Profiteil.

Ich hadere noch ein bisschen damit, meinen AX8 zu verkaufen. Meine feinste Gitarre, handmade in California by Luthier Michael Tuttle , Sonderedition mit insgesamt nur 12 Gitarren weltweit, gebaut von Michael Tuttle und Xotic, gehörte dem Chef von der Fa. Xotic. Schlägt eine Fender Custom Shop u. Master built in der Bauweise um Längen! Wunderschöne Gitarre mit einem ganz außergewöhnlichen Hals - schaut mal das Griffbnrett an! Sehr guter Zustand, kaum Kratzer oder Dellen. 3,4 Kg. Kommt inkl. sehr stabilem Koffer.

You may be familiar with Xotic boutique hand wired pedals but less so with their handmade guitars.  That is because they refuse to mass produce them or cut any corners. Xotic guitars are built by one man out of a custom shop in California and only 50 are produced each year. The build time on this guitar is 6 months. There is no production line! In this case, Xotic contracted Michael Tuttle to build 12 guitars exclusively for the high end market in Japan dubbing the guitar the xce-1 (Classic Evolution). This is trully a 1950s reissue strat made by one of the best known and most skilled luthiers in the business. Michael selected the tonewoods and every other component by hand.  

This guitar is #1 of 12 and was owned by Toshio Horiba owner of Xotic. I aquired this guitar direct from Mr. Horiba through a shop on the west coast (I do not speak much Japanese). This is an incredible strat and is better than any Masterbuilt Fender. The list price on this limited edition guitar was $6400 and they are now sold out.

You can also search ebay for Michael tuttle guitars they are some of the best guitars available anywhere at any price point. The action on this guitar is silky smooth. The neck and fret work is perfect. When you pick up this guitar you immediately notice the quaility of the build and the incredible balance it has. When you play it you will fall in love, it is an extremely resonent instrument. It resonantes like a chambered or hollowbody and sustains like a neck-thru without the dark tone. It is pure vintage 1950s strat born today!  There is no other guitar I have played that can give you this great vintage vibe combined with contemporary features. The Madagascar rosewood is as beautiful as it is toneful.  

Masterbuild guitars like this one however are made by a single Luthier. and take months to build. No other build receives this much attention to detail. The builder selects the wood by hand and completed every aspect of the guitar and it becomes a part of the builder because so many hours go into it's production.

This guitars was Masterbuilt by Michael Tutlle. Are you familiar with Dommenget or Zemaitis? This guitar is on par with Boris Dommenget's quality that is why they cost so much. As a collector I know this is the very best strat available for sale right now. The nut width is 1-11/16 and yes this guitar is extremely dynamic in terms of resonance.

The back of the headstock is signed my Michael Tuttle and the Neck plate is etched 1/12 indicating the limited nature of this run.  Comes with original cream color G&G HSC and Trem arm.

His Xotic guitars are REALLY good instruments -- my best comparison is maybe somewhere between a Tyler and a Grosh....
Michael Tuttle from bestfret.com -- he learned a lot from Don Grosh, and he worked with Xotic during the first couple of years, and still does fretwork for Xotic when requested.

Kostete mich inkl. Versand, Einfuhrsteuer und Zoll ca. 3.200 €. Custom built, weil ich einen kleines bisschen breiteren Hals (nut width 1 11/16 haben wollte, damit deutlich leichter spielbar, finde ich. Mit dieser nut width werden viele Strats heute gebaut ). Phantastisches, geschmackvolles und leichtes Aging, nur wenig, nicht zu viel, Incagold, eine Mischung aus mattem Gold und Silber, sieht wunderschön aus. 

Kenner wissen über Danocaster Bescheid. Dan Strain baut in dieser Preisregion herausragende Teles und Strats. Wer eine neue kaufen will, muss sich auf lange Wartezeiten gefasst machen. Auf Reverb werden die Danocaster derzeit für 3.000 Euro angeboten, OHNE Versand, Import und Zoll,kommen also noch ordentlich Mehrkosten dazu. Ich weiß leider nicht mehr, welche Pickups von Dan Strain verbaut werden/wurden. Klingt klasse und spielt sich wunderbar. Kommt ohne Koffer, mit Gigbagtasche.

Neupreis: ca. 2.000 €. Sehr gute handgefertigte Westerngitarre mit Sitka Spruce Top und Indian Rosewood Back & Sides. Zustand sehr gut, mir sind beim Fotografieren keine Dellen aufgefallen. Schaut Euch die dichte Maßerung der Decke an!  Jean Larrivee bietet ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und eine sehr hohe Qualität quer durch die Produktion. Gerade die 3er-Serien sind sehr beliebt, da wenig Schmuck, aber Sound vergleichbar mit den höheren Reihen. Die OM-3RE hat den hochwertigen Larrivee/B-Band Preamp/Pickup in der Zarge mit Filter und Phasendreher. Die Gitarre spielt sich leicht und gut, mit C/D-Halsprofil, nicht klobig, eher leicht, schöner offener Ton. Außerdem sieht sie durch ihre dunklere Decke bildhübsch aus.

Larrivée Gitarren werden auch heute nicht in industriellen Fließbandfertigung hergestellt, sie bestechen durch präzise und hochwertige Handarbeit. Trotz der Verlagerung nach Californien und der Optimierung verschiedener Prodkutionsbedingungen widerstand der Gitarrenbauer die Fertigung nach Fernost auszulagern.Bis heute hat er nicht vergessen, wofür er zu Beginn der 1970er Jahre antrat und beim deutschen Gitarrenbauer Edgar Mönch in Toronto sein Handwerk erlernte. Das Bauen von hochwertigen Gitarren ist bis heute seine Berufung. Eine Gitarre von Jean Larrivée macht Spass am Gitarre spielen und sie vermittelt Freude am Klang. .

Die Schaltung des Effektpedals wurde für die Mini Serie angepasst um auch als Ein-Regler-Pedal perfekt zu funktionieren. Bei niedrigen Gain beziehungsweise Bias Einstellungen räumt das Pedal den Sound schön auf, während es bei hohen Settings einen dreckigen Fuzz erzeugt. Alles dazwischen besticht durch unfassbare Dynamic und Spielfreude. Je nach Verstärker, Volume der Gitarre und verwendetem Gain bzw. Bias Setting kann der Amp 50 als Clean Boost, Dirt Boost, Overdrive oder Fuzz Box verwendet werden. Die Stompbox verleiht dem Setup ein unglaubliches Feeling ohne den Sound ungewollt zu verfälschen. In Kombination mit anderen Pedalen zeigt der Amp50 wie vielseitig er wirklich sein kann.
